Dhriti Rayadurgam is a junior at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota, with a passion for the intersection between STEM and the arts. She has pursued her love for music and the arts through learning Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Vocal Music for many years and also enjoys playing the piano and the violin. As a junior ambassador of ThinkSTEAM, Dhriti leads various workshops as well as attends camps to immerse herself in STEAM. She hopes to continue inspiring the future generations of women to be involved in STEAM as she continues to expand her knowledge in this field. A fun fact about Dhriti is that she enjoys creating unique handmade cards to share with others on special occasions.
Pooja Karthikeyan is a junior at Wayzata High School in Minnesota. At school, she is involved with the Wayzata Speech Team and the National Honor Society. Outside of academics, she pursues her passion for Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form, and participates in numerous cultural events and performances. She also tutors young students in math and reading at Kumon. In Fall 2024, she joined ThinkSTEAM as a Junior Ambassador, driven by her interest in exploring new ideas and empowering young girls to pursue opportunities in STEAM. A fun fact about Pooja is that she collects a keychain from every state and country she visits.
Jasleen Bains is a junior at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota, with a deep commitment to using science as a means of serving others. Driven by a genuine desire to improve human health and well-being, she is especially passionate about biological research and its potential to address complex diseases. Jasleen has pursued this interest through cancer research at the University of Minnesota, where she explores cellular and molecular mechanisms related to disease progression. Beyond the lab, Jasleen expresses her creativity through playing the violin and writing, finding balance between analytical thinking and artistic expression. As a junior ambassador of ThinkSTEAM, Jasleen leads various workshops aimed at inspiring future generations of women to pursue interests and careers in STEAM. A fun fact about Jasleen is that she enjoys baking macarons, croissants and strawberry cake in her free time.
